Eurobank is widely known as a people-centric bank that forges long-lasting relationships with customers, which is why it was a natural choice to join forces with Euroleague Basketball as a partner for this season’s Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four in Belgrade. Serbia is one of the six countries where Eurobank Group operates, managing €60.0 billion in assets in 700 customer service locations.
The premium quality of the Final Four and Eurobank’s sterling reputation made this partnership a perfect match both sides. Eurobank has long been an ardent supporter of sports — and basketball in particular — having served as the main sponsor for Greek national teams since 2001. It has also invested over €4 million in Serbian community projects in recent years, as well as in projects spanning other communities in which Eurobank is located, such as Bulgaria, Cyprus, Luxembourg and the United Kingdom.
Eurobank today holds a leading position among foreign investors and financial institutions in Serbia, where more than 1,200 employees meet the everyday needs of over 500,000 account holders, both private individuals and companies. As such, Eurobank is able to offer a broad range of standardized and innovative banking products and services to its customers in Serbia and beyond.
The Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four is the showcase event for the continent of Europe’s premier basketball competition. This season’s Final Four will be held at Stark Arena in Belgrade with reigning champion Fenerbahce Dogus Istanbul, nine-time champion Real Madrid, seven-time winner CSKA Moscow and perennial Lithuanian powerhouse Zalgiris Kaunas competing for the 2018 crown.
