Group C is dominated, with no doubt, by France, who is the leader of this group. The other 3 teams – Australia, Denmark and Peru stand the same chances of succeeding to the next level of the competition.

France is one of the favourite teams to win the 2018 World Cup based on their overall performance and having a great team available, with a lot of options. There is a very strong and young attack, indluding super players such as Antoine Griezmann the Atlético Madrid striker, top scorer Olivier Giroud from Chelsea, Kylian Mbappé from Paris St Germaine  and Ousmane Dembélé from Barcelona.
In the midfield they have some of the greatest midfielders like N’Golo Kanté  from Chelsea, superstar Paul Pogba  from Mancester United, and Matuidi from Juventus.
Despite having a team packed with extremely talented footballers, they lost the final of Euro 2016 against Portugal. Sometimes, a lot of superstars players in the same team may not play as well together for various reasons. The qualification and friendly games played since the Euro 2016 defeat helped them to get familiar with each other’s playing style.
The Coach of the national team of Peru is the retired famous Argentinean player   RICARDO GARECA.
After a break of 36 years Peru, is back again at the World Cup 2018.
Most of the Peruvian players play in Mexican clubs: veteran goalkeeper Pedro Gallese, defender Luis Advincula, midfielder Pedro Aquino, and strikers Raul Ruidiaz and Andy Polo.
The team is a mixture of young and old players, in the attack they have the veterans Jefferson Farfán and Paolo Guerrero – assisted by young midfielder Christian Cueva .The Peruvian team qualifying to this year’s World Cup came as a surprise due to their break of 36 years since participating in the tournament.
The  coach of the Australian national team is the Dutch BERT VAN MARWIJK.
Australia’s national team struggled to qualify to the World Cup at first – playing 22 games, but they were successful in the end.
Their most important players are Mile Jedinak from Aston Villa and the 37-year-old Tim Cahill who is the oldest forward at the World Cup this year.

Denmark is a small country, with a few professional clubs, but they have big expectations for their national team.
Denmark’s last participation at the World Cup was in 2010 – however, this time round they have a better team. The team’s performances were very good at their last participation at a major tournament – in the Euro 2012.
Their best players: are the creative and skilled Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen, who scored 11 goals in their 12 qualification matches; midfielder  Thomas Delaney from Borussia Dortmund, and strikers Nicolai Jørgensen from Feyenoord alongside Nicklas Bendtner from Rosenborg.
The team is motivated after their successful qualification and have a big chance of putting on a good performance at this year’s tournament.
